Sahar is working as a Clinical Research Specialist, responsible for managing multi-site studies from the coordinating centre. Sahar has over 14 years of experience working in Clinical Research on investigator initiated as well as industry sponsored studies. She has been involved in conducting day to day tasks for observational studies. Additionally, Sahar has managed multi-site national observational studies and multi-site international clinical trials. Through the various roles Sahar has held, she has had the opportunity to contribute to every aspect and stage of clinical research including, assisting in drafting study protocols, grant applications and manuscripts, completing regulatory and ethical applications, formulating budgets, initiating study sites, data management and analysis.
Sahar has received HBSc in Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Toronto and MSc in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University. She has also completed a Clinical Research Associate program at Michener Institute. Sahar authored several manuscripts that have been published in peer reviewed journals. She has also authored and presented posters at conferences.
