
Dr. Rosane Nisenbaum is a Biostatistician and Investigator at StrategicPartnerships in Health Excellence, Research, and Engagement, and MAP Centre forUrban Health Solutions, at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St Michael'sHospital. As a consultant to medical researchers of a broad array ofspecialties, she provides guidance on complex study designs integratingstatistical and epidemiological principles, customized to each specific context.She also has expertise indesigning and analyzing randomized intervention trials and population-basedstudies to improve health and housing outcomes for adults and youthexperiencing homelessness. Dr. Nisenbaum is an Assistant Professor inthe Division of Biostatistics in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at theUniversity of Toronto, where she co-teaches and is a practicum supervisor inthe course ‘Laboratory in Statistical Design & Analysis’, and serves incommittees for masters’ and doctorate students. She has special interest in theapplication of multilevel models, longitudinal and categorical data analysis,multiple imputation, matching and weighting methods, and cluster analysistechniques.
