Dr. Myriam Lafreniere-Roula received her BEng from McGill University and her PhD in Neurophysiology from the University of Manitoba. Following postdoctoral work in that area, she obtained an MSc in Biostatistics from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto and has been working as biostatistician since. Her previous work was focused on observational studies in the field of cardiology with an emphasis on the analysis of long-term survival following cardiovascular procedures. In her current role at the SPHERE, she supports the Clinical Trials Unit with statistical analysis and reporting for a broad range of prospective studies.
