Charles (Charlie) Keown-Stoneman, PhD, P.Stat. is the Senior Research Biostatistician and Biostatistics Team Lead at SPHERE at Unity Health Toronto, an Adjunct Scientist at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, and an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. He received his PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Guelph.
As the Lead Biostatistician at SPHERE, he oversees our team of biostatisticians working on clinical trials and observational studies. Dr. Keown-Stoneman is an expert in time-to-event analysis, longitudinal analysis, and regression modelling generally. He is a frequent contributor to the medical, psychiatric, paediatric, and nutritional literature. He has experience teaching undergraduate and graduate statistics courses at the University of Guelph and the University of Toronto.
